COVID-19 Policy

Staying Safe Together

It goes without saying that COVID-19 has changed the way many services are rendered. For Studio 20/20, we too have had to adjust some of our rules and protocols in response to the current situation, and in order to promote the health and safety of our Associates and guests.

Here are a few things we have implemented as part of health and safety protocols to be observed in the studios and shared work space:

Health and safety

With health and safety at the top of our minds, our Associates are disinfecting high touch surfaces (tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, toilets, faucets, sinks, and electronics, and accessories) regularly throughout the day with cleaning products that meet Health Canada’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Between every reservation, there are two hours blocked for cleaning and disinfecting of props, equipment, the studio, and entrance ways.

    Capacity

To respect social distancing rules as a result of COVID-19, we reserve the right to limit the amount of people in each studio at a time—including associates. Please indicate the number of guests at the time of reservation. All guests are to maintain a distance of 2 metres or 6 feet apart from each other.

Photographers and users of Studio 20/20 are to adhere to and respect social distancing requirements. That being said, as much as ya’ll love each other, please keep your distance! If you absolutely need to be in close proximity, please ensure to wear personal protective equipment such as masks (PPE) at all times.

While hand sanitizer is located throughout the studio for use, PPE is the renters’ and their clients’ responsibility.

Declaration of Health | Assumption of Risk

The day before your reservation, each guest will be required to complete a Declaration of Health form and Assumption of Risk waiver. Please provide the name and contact number of each person who will be joining you for your reservation so that we may contact them and provide them with a waiver and screening questions.

In the event that you are not feeling well within 12 hours of your reservation, no stress. Simply give us a call or send us a note and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment without penalty. If you arrive at the studio and are displaying signs of illness, we will ask you to leave and no refund will be issued.

Like many businesses, we are taking every precaution to keep users of this space safe, however we cannot be held liable in the event of contracting any illness.

        Upon your Arrival

At this time, we ask that guests and creatives arrive within 10 minutes of your session.

When you arrive at the studio, one of our studio Associates will ask you will ask you to confirm your pre-submitted waiver.

Everyone using or working in the space is required to wash their hands upon entry. Correct hand washing methods are posted near every sink.

        Kitchenette and Vanity

At this time, the kitchenette and appliances are unavailable for use. Food and drinks must be consumed in the designated area, and shareable items such as chips, pizza, pastries and communal beverages are not permitted. Individual packed food is allowed.

Social distancing rules are in effect so ensure that one model is treated at a time during hair and makeup applications. No food or drinks are permitted at makeup stations or outside of designated areas.
